1. Data Collection & Offline Functionality

Lo-Fi Engine generates music procedurally on your device using music theory algorithms. We do not record, stream, or transmit audio files to or from external servers. When you "like" a song or create a playlist, the app saves a lightweight "recipe" (parameters and seeds) locally on your device storage, not in a cloud database.

2. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob)

To provide free access to the engine, we use Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial advertisements. AdMob may collect and process certain device information, such as your IP address and mobile advertising ID, to serve relevant ads. Upgrading to Lo-Fi Pro removes this integration entirely.

3. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS devices, we explicitly request your permission via App Tracking Transparency before allowing advertising networks to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites for targeted advertising. If you opt out, ads will still be served, but they will not be personalized.

4. Media Library Access

The app requests access to your photo library and camera strictly for the purpose of allowing you to set custom cover images for your playlists. These images remain locally stored on your device and are never uploaded, analyzed, or shared with third parties.
